So we know that this is a big issue, and not only is it affecting us now, but more importantly, future generations.  So what do we do about it?  That's what we'll cover here:

 

There are many stakeholders that have a hand in continuously solving this massive issue.  See a full list and description of them on the "Stakeholders" sub tab.  A good one that you can get involved with is The Nature Conservancy.  Simply donating anything you can will help more than you would think.  They have amazing resources, systems, and people ready to induce change.  They also have plenty of events going on in your area.  Just check out their "Volunteer and Events" tab. 

 

You may not think that just an individual taking action is going to make much of a difference, but we want you to know it makes all the difference in the world!  Under their "Take Action" tab, you can find the Action Center.  They have so many causes that you can sign petitions for, get updates and action steps, or even get your hands dirty and attend events!  On their website, you can also calculate you carbon footprint.  This will help you take steps to reduce it, as well as take a look at all the places that you're helping them protect in your local area, and around the world!

Check out the "Stakeholders" sub tab to see all the the organizations and programs that you can get involved with.  Think of it this way; yes you are just one person, but what if everyone acted the way you did?  Act in a way that if everyone acted that you did, there would be a dramatic difference!  Check out the "Impact" tab, for more ways that you can make a change in your own home, and become more Water Wise!
